THE LITTLE DETAILS

Privacy notice

The short version. This website introduces Yogit. We use basic technical information to deliver and protect it, and information you send us to respond. The current app preview stores your practice data on your device.

Who we are

Yogit is operated by Rumil One Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 16936021. Registered office: Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, United Kingdom, IP28 7DE. Rumil One Ltd is the controller of personal information described in this notice.

For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email hello@getyogit.com or write to the registered office above.

What this notice covers

This notice covers the public website at getyogit.com and the current browser-based Yogit preview, if you use it. The mobile apps and paid plan described on the website are in development and are not currently available to purchase. We will update this notice before a released app or new features process information differently.

Information we use

When you visit the website

Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, the pages requested, request times and security information. They use this to deliver the website, detect abuse, troubleshoot and keep it secure. Cloudflare may run security checks and set necessary cookies; see the cookie notice.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address, any name you provide, your message and any attachments. Please avoid sending sensitive health information unless it is necessary for your enquiry.

If you use the current browser preview

The preview can store your first name, preferences, equipment choices, time zone, routines, favourites, plans and practice history in your browser’s local storage on your device. Practice choices may reveal information about your wellbeing. The preview does not create an account or sync this information to us. You can export a backup or delete the preview’s data in its settings; clearing browser data can also remove it. Deleting the local data does not delete backups or images you have already downloaded or shared.

If you choose to share a practice card, your device creates it and sends it through the app or service you choose. That service has its own privacy terms. The preview also loads fonts from Google, so your browser may make a request to Google. The public marketing website does not load those fonts.

Why we use information

We use technical information to provide, maintain and secure the website, and your correspondence to answer questions and deal with requests. The preview uses its locally stored information to remember your choices and provide the practice features you request. For ordinary personal information, our lawful basis under UK data protection law is our legitimate interests in running a secure site, providing a working preview and communicating with people who contact us. Where we need information to take steps you request before entering a contract, or to meet a legal obligation, the relevant lawful basis may instead be contract or legal obligation. Providing an email address is voluntary, but we need a way to reply.

Who receives it and where it goes

We use OpenAI’s Sites service to host the website, Cloudflare for network security and email forwarding, and our email provider to receive correspondence. These providers may process information needed to deliver their services. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect legal rights. We do not sell personal information.

Our providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where UK data protection law requires safeguards for international transfers, appropriate safeguards must apply. Contact us for more information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your request.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to answer your enquiry, handle any follow-up and meet applicable legal or record-keeping obligations. Technical and security records are kept for the period needed for security, maintenance and investigation, subject to our providers’ retention settings. When deciding how long to keep information, we consider its purpose, the nature of the information and any legal requirements.

Preview data remains in your browser until you delete it or clear the relevant site data. Your downloaded backups and shared copies remain wherever you save or send them.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict or object to its use, and receive a portable copy. You can contact us using the details above. These rights are subject to applicable exceptions. Because preview data is stored locally rather than in an account with us, we cannot retrieve or delete that local data remotely.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We would appreciate the opportunity to help first, but you can contact the ICO directly.

Changes

We may update this notice when our services or data practices change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice where required.
